Digitization Projects

PLAN’s digitization project is a collaborative effort to uncover the “Hidden Treasures” in the Florida Panhandle.  PLAN member libraries contain many collections of historical and genealogical interest that are not widely available to the public.  The collections in question are currently either available only by on-site use or are inaccessible because of their poor, fragile condition.  Digitizing (i.e., scanning) these materials allows the public to have access to this information via the internet.  Digitization projects are contingent upon funding being available.

Completed projects are available in the following locations:

Florida Hidden Treasures
Gulf Coast State College Memory Collection
Tall Timbers Research Station & Land Conservancy
